If it isn't on paper, it didn't happen.
Stamped drawings, pressure-test logs, rough-in photography, and as-built revisions for every project. Hand-over packages go to the owner and the GC — no exceptions.
Caspian is a Toronto-based plumbing and mechanical contractor serving the GTA's premier builders, property managers, and homeowners. We do one thing: install systems that work for decades — and prove it on paper.
Caspian was founded in 2014 by a journeyman plumber and a mechanical engineer who were tired of watching trade work get done twice. The original premise was simple: if you stamp the drawings, photograph the rough-in, and hand over a real warranty in writing, callbacks collapse and clients stop second-guessing the invoice.
Twelve years later that premise still drives the company. We deliberately keep plumbing and mechanical under one roof because the handoff between the two trades is where most building problems start — a misplaced floor drain, an under-sized recirc line, a boiler loop that fights the radiant manifold. One company on the hook for both means there's nowhere for the problem to hide.
Today Caspian runs a single shop out of North York with a directly employed crew of plumbers, gasfitters, and mechanical technicians. We work with about forty repeat builder partners, take a steady book of residential renovation and retrofit work, and dispatch a small 24/7 service team across the GTA. We're not trying to be the biggest mechanical contractor in Toronto — we're trying to be the one your architect and your structural engineer both recommend by name.
We say no to work that doesn't fit these — even when the schedule says otherwise. It's the only way the warranty means anything.

We commit to milestones in writing before we start. If our piece slips, we say so the day we know — and we don't blame the trade above us. Builders book us back because of this.
Caspian stays deliberately small. Every install is performed by directly employed crew — never sub-subbed — and every system is commissioned by a senior tech before we leave site.
From estimate through warranty period, a single project manager owns your job. No phone trees, no rotating contacts, no surprise faces in the mechanical room on inspection day.
A small leadership team — every one of them holds tools, reads drawings, and answers their own phone.
